Professional Herbalist Training
The professional herbalist training program will be a series of more advanced classes designed to help students become professional herbalists. Our goal is to help students prepare to apply for professional membership in the American Herbalists Guild.
The first offering of the Professional Clinical Herbalist program will be our Advanced Herbal Training program. This will be a series of webinar-based classes on specific categories of herbs. Each module in this class will consist of five two-hour webinars for a total of ten hours of instruction. Upon completion of the homework for that module, students will receive a certificate of completion.
The prerequiste for these modules will be two free webinars which lay the foundation of understanding necessary to understand the approach being taken in the classes.
Module Three: Herbs for the Respiratory System
- Webinar
The third module in our Advanced Herbal Training Program begins May 17. This module will consist of five webinars (about two hours each) with detailed instruction on herbal remedies for respiratory problems. Cost is $157. Click here to register.
Module Two - Herbs for the Circulatory System
- Webinar
This is the second module in our Advanced Herbal Training Program. It covers remedies for heart problems, blood pressure, veins, bleeding and general circulation. We not only discuss popular remedies like hawthorn, garlic, capsicum and ginkgo, but we also cover more advanced remedies like lily of the valley, scotch broom, mistletoe, periwinkle and night blooming cerus, which can be used for more serious heart conditions.
This class is currently in progress. When it is completed, it will be available as a correspondence course.
Module One - Herbs for the Immune System
- Webinar
The first module of our Advanced Herbal Training program is an in-depth look at herbs for the immune system. We cover antibacterial agents, antifungal agents, antiviral agents, immune boosters and balancers and herbs for fighting cancer. The class will soon be available as a correspondence course.
